Chart notes
ROOSTER J took the lead shortly away from the gate, set the pace under steady pressure to the top of the lane, kicked away in upper stretch and drew off through the lane while drifting very wide. CANNED HEAT was well placed stalking the leader from the fence, responded to attempt to engage the winner leaving the quarter pole, could not go with that one and finished well as second best. COOL AGENT broke outward, tracked the leaders through the turn and showed some late interest to be best of the rest. KARTWHEEL KIRBY broke well to be the early leaders, settled to press the pace to midway on the turn, made a move to challenge at the quarter pole and weakened in the stretch. MONEYMILITIA was crowded at the start and went evenly without impact. BEYOND GRATEFUL was not a threat. SCOUSER was not a factor.
