RIYADH MOON came away in front then showed speed, dropped back between foes while crowded a touch inside the three-quarter pole, retreated to the rear of the field before the five-eighths pole while moving to the outside, was urged along in the three path for most of the turn, dropped to the two path briefly late on that bend then went back to the three path, gained in the four path into the stretch then tipped further out, rallied outside to get the lead outside the sixteenth-pole then moved clear under good handling to prevail. TIZMARKUS was bumped at the start then sent hard, pressed the pace on the outside of the leader, vied in the three path while asked on the turn, took the lead under a strong hand-ride outside the quarter-pole, shook clear under a right-handed crop in upper stretch, remained clear into the final furlong but was overtaken while well clear for the place. FIRST TRUMPET broke in and brushed the gate while away a bit awkwardly then bumped with a foe, settled off the pace, was urged along while inside on the turn, turned into the stretch in the two path while under a drive and lacked the needed response while best of the rest. GOLDEN SYMPHONY stumbled awkwardly at the start then was hustled, moved up to get the lead inside the three-quarter pole, set the pace under pressure to his outside, vied along the rail while asked on the turn, passed the five-sixteenths pole under strong urging, was headed by the runner-up outside the quarter-pole, dropped back into upper stretch and tired. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPS showed speed then chased the pace on the outside, made a bid in the four path while roused on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive, dropped back outside the furlong marker and capitulated. CONFABULATION was hustled from the gate then urged along off the pace, went around most of the turn in the two path, shifted to the four then five path later on that bend and came up empty.
