Chart notes
MYLUCKEYVALENTINE unable to save ground in the first turn, stalked the pace three wide up the backstretch, took command at the the three eighths pole and only widened the lead from there. JOSH settled back to trail for most, made a five wide bid at the top of the stretch to improve for the place award. BROTHER LAD settled off the pace for most, angled out four wide in the stretch to improve position. SIDNEY'S BID saved ground in the first turn to press the pace from the two path, retreated at the three eighths. JAKE'S AFFECTION settled no too far behind the pace in the three path, gained position through the far turn but weakened in the stretch. DUKE OF DOOLY broke sharply to take the early lead on the inside, was pressured by foes up the backstretch until yielding the lead at the three eighths and fading.
