Chart notes
FREELY HELD was the first out of the gate before settling to stalk the pace from the three path, took command at the quarter pole and kicked clear in the stretch. BOOTLEG RUNNER rated behind the pace on the inside, angled out towards the three path in the stretch to improve position. BLACK VOLT claimed the lead shortly after the start in the two path, under pressure from foe in turn to yield the lead, weakened in the final furlong. INTO THE LIGHT raced off the pace, never involved. MAGIC MIKEY trailed for most, no factor.
