Chart notes
ALL WEST was unhurried early, went six wide entering the stretch, closed steadily and wore down his rivals to get up late. RANCH WATER vied two across, inched away leaving the turn, led past the sixteenth pole and was outfinished in a good effort. THROWIN' SHADE vied inside to the second turn, dropped back, leveled off and held for show. SOUTH SIDE raced close to the pace, bid willingly to threaten, didn't have enough late and hung to lose position. PESO PESADO saved ground, backed up on the turn, angled out, bid six wide and closed well. PROWLING TIGER vied around the first turn, raced in close to the second turn, dropped back and flattened out. CLARESTOWN was unhurried early, raced outside, was roused on the turn and lacked a response.
