Chart notes
BROKE AN BROKEN away well and was allowed to settle off the early pace while saving ground at the rail entering the backstretch, launched his bid three wide entering the final turn, and closed with a rush two out from the rail in the drive to take command late and pull clear. FINDING WAYS broke sharply and raced to the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, was able to control the pace in the run down the backside, maintained his advantage through the final turn, but was unable to fend off a late charge by BROKE AN BROKEN, while proving second best. KNOPFLER away alertly and tracked the leader into the backstretch while racing two out from the rail, commenced his bid three wide entering the final turn, and finished two wide in the drive to garner a share. OVERLY FAST settled towards the back of the pack while racing two wide entering the backstretch, launched his bid two wide entering the final turn, but needed more late while finishing four wide in the drive. AVE'S IN COMMAND was away a bit awkwardly, and slow into stride, stalked the leader into the backstretch while saving ground at the rail, advanced from along the rail midway down the backside, but failed to mount a late bid when called upon. JERSEYS IMAGE tracked the leader into the first turn while racing one out from the rail, maintained his position in the run to the final turn, but weakened over the final furlong.
