Chart notes
RITZAPHENA raced in range between foes in the opening quarter, tracked two wide in the second flight around the turn, came out wider for the drive, responded under right handed pressure at the head of the lane, vied along the outside, dug in gamely under firm handling and edged away. LADY CAPTAIN was allowed to settle in early stages, picked up the pace mid-way around the turn, swung five wide into the upper stretch, finished with good response along the outside and got a nose up for place. HOT CRAZY MATRIX was forwardly placed sitting just off the leader approaching the half mile marker, advanced and dueled outside of GLENGLORIA entering the turn, fought back gamely three deep past the sixteenth pole and yielded late. GLENGLORIA broke on top and set the pace up the backstretch, took on the challenge from HOT CRAZY MATRIX entering the turn, battled back gamely between foes into the final furlong and evened out late. SUMMER WINNER tracked in contention up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn, advanced along the rail to challenge for the lead at the head of the lane, vied into the final furlong then weakened late. SUGAREE raced off the early pace, swung three to four wide into the upper stretch, angled out wider under left handed pressure and showed some mild interest late. SOMAVIA tracked the early pace, raced in contention around the turn, chased two wide into the upper stretch then gave way. PRACTICAL JOY drifted out at the start then ducked into the gap, hit the rail and lost all chance. MIAMANTE raced off the pace, swung five wide into the lane and had no response. STEWARDS POSTED INQUIRY LOOKING AT THE START, AFTER REVIEW NO ACTION WAS TAKEN
