Chart notes
HER OWN SHADOW pulled to the lead shortly away from the gate, set the pace under steady pressure, kicked away when called upon turning for home and was unthreatened late in the drive. KERKYRA stalked the pace to midway on the turn, rallied in an early drive to threaten at the quarter pole, could not keep pace with the winner and finished willingly as second best. RIVERS ANGEL took the early lead away from the gate, pressed the winner down the backside from the rail, saved ground on the bend unable to go with the leader and ran-on to be best of the rest. HOLIDAY BETTY lacked early foot to be well off the pace, circled wide coming home and showed some interest without impact. SWEET VIVIAN tracked the leader into the turn and lost ground going evenly. MISS LORA ANN was not a factor.
