Chart notes
WRECKLESS RHETT saved ground setting the pace, came three-wide into the stretch while opening a clear lead and maintained a clear advantage. MATTS ADVISOR was allowed to settle came in nearing the seven-sixteenths pole then saved ground, was unable to threaten the winner but proved to be second best. ASHRYVER prompted WRECKLESS RHETT early from along the outside, came three-wide into the stretch and held on fairly well for third. MONTE DE CHEVRE was close-up early racing along the inside, was in tight nearing the seven-sixteenths pole when MATTS ADVISOR came in then continued to saved ground and finished willingly. MORE THAN ORDINARY settled in the back of the field, came four-wide into the stretch and failed to seriously threaten. MIKE'S EXCESS was unhurried early, came five-wide into the stretch and was not a factor. THE RIDER OF MONTE DE CHEVRE LODGED AN OBJECTION AGAIN MATTS ADVISOR BUT AFTER VIEWING THE FILMS THE STEWARDS RULED THAT THE WAS SOME TRAFFIC NEARING THE SEVEN-SIXTEENTHS POLE BUT THE INCIDENT DID NOT COST MONTE DE CHEVRE A POSITION AND MADE NO CHANGE IN THE ORDER OF FINISH.
