Chart notes
ZVEREV settled two then three wide in pursuit from just off the pace and in the clear as most rivals took up cover behind a foe, remained patiently handled until placed to coaxing near the quarter pole, swung four wide into upper stretch, rallied to issue a challenge inside the final furlong coming inwards when seizing command inside the sixteenth marker, dug in and won the bob on the wire. FUERTEVENTURA coaxed from the gate, was intent on the lead and showed the way in hand just off the inside and then along the inside, came under urging at the five-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, dug in stubbornly fending off foes, got collared inside the sixteenth marker, fought on to the finish and lost the nod on the line. IL SICILIANO struck the off side stall at the start, chased along the inside early on through to the second turn before tipping three wide down the backstretch, went three to four wide through the far turn coming under encouragement nearing the five-sixteenths, angled five wide for home, closed well outside and missed at the end. OUTSOURCE coaxed from the start, settled just off the inside in mid pack, chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under a ride at the five-sixteenths, angled four wide at the head of the stretch and offered up late foot. INVESTMENT MANDATE settled just off the inside near the rear of the field, came under encouragement at the three-eighths, angled three to four wide for home and made no headway. KIGALI broke well and led briefly early on before being displaced from command by FUERTEVENTURA, tracked that rival just off the inside in closest aim, came under urging at the five-sixteenths, swung three wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive prominent to the eighth pole, then weakened in the late stages. AMBITION brushed the off side stall at the start, settled tracking the leader just off the pace along the inside, remained patiently handled until set down spinning from the two path into upper stretch, weakened in the drive.
