Chart notes
EXPLORA jumped out to the front and set the pace under pressure from REVERA to the outside, disposed of that rival at the three-eighths pole and opened up around the turn, remained confidently handled to midstretch, asked a little at the sixteenth pole and padded the lead late. REVERA broke out and bumped, pressed EXPLORA from outside up the backstretch, could not keep up and chased two wide through the turn, finished determinedly down the lane but was no match for the winner. TOTAL VAL broke well then dropped off the pace, saved ground throught he turn and passed tired rivals. COSMO FRIDAY raced in range in the early going, dropped back in the two path or a bit off the rail around the bend and came up empty in the drive. LATTE LUV took a bump at the start, chased the top pair from outside, went two to three wide on the turn and weakened.
