Chart notes
STAY SASSY was forwardly placed racing two-wide, moved up to engage ALOHA BREEZE leaving the eighth pole and prevailed under strong handling. ALOHA BREEZE saved ground setting the pace, responded when challenged and held on gamely while not being able to resist the winner late. CHAI saved ground while being allowed to settle and finished well in a steady effort. LAPUSH was reserved off the pace, moved up three-wide nearing the quarter pole but lacked a rally. SMILING LADY bobbled at the start then was in tight on the first turn, then was allowed to settle then angled out to be four-wide nearing the quarter pole and failed to menace. VULIN saved ground while racing in the back of the field and was not a factor.
