Chart notes

C'MON LUCKY was forwardly placed around the first turn and up the backstretch, tracked the leader around the far turn, was ridden along two wide into the upper stretch, cleared the lead at the furlong marker and edged away. PRINCIPAL ANITA raced up close around the first turn then edged back and rated off the early pace, was ridden along three wide around the far turn, sustained bid into the lane and cleared second best. CHASING AFTER YOU set a pressured pace around the first turn and up the backstretch, held clear around the far turn, saved ground entering the lane, got overtaken by the winner approaching the furlong marker and weakened to show. JANES GIRLS settled in early stages then edged closer near the half mile marker, failed to advance under pressure around the turn, swung four wide into the lane and failed to move on. FRIENDLY SPIRIT was allowed to settle off the early pace but was never too far back, raced along the rail, got shuffled back with three furlongs left to run and had no late response. GOLDEN EDGE pressed the pace around the first turn and into the backstretch then came up empty past the half mile marker.
