Chart notes
SURPRISE ROAD TRIP tracked the top pair up the backstretch, edged closer late on the turn, launched a three wide bid at the head of the lane, took over the lead at the furlong marker and finished going away. PREACHER MAN SAM bumped with rival at the start, dueled inside of MC COUGAR up the backstretch and into the upper stretch, got headed by the winner at the eighth pole, ran on and dug in for place. MC COUGAR dueled outside of PREACHER MAN SAM up the backstretch and into the upper stretch, got overtaken by the eventual winner with a furlong left to run and got edged late for place. NATIVE HELLRAISER 'raced in the last flight late late on the backstretch, chased four wide around the turn and improved position without threatening the top trio. STROLLER BOY raced between foes in the last flight late going by the half mile marker, came three wide into the upper stretch, angled in a path and had lacked a late bid. TEMPLE CITY RUN bumped with inside rival at the start, raced in range in the opening quarter, flattened around the turn and continued to tire in the drive.
