Chart notes
EGBERT WHO settled outside mid-pack stalking mostly three to four wide, kept on in the stretch under steady urging, surged to get up late. GONE WITH DUWYN was quick to take the lead, set the pace shifting nearer the rail, was unasked till upper stretch, responded promptly drawing about three lengths clear coming past mid-stretch, lugged out near the sixteenth pole, was nailed late. TIME ZAPPER broke outwardly, stalked in behind the leader, moved out and exchanged a few light bumps with a rival, stalked three wide on the turn and was asked coming past the quarter pole, kept on evenly and failed to rally. MAKER'S FLATTER stalked, exchanged some bumps with an inside foe leaving the backstretch, shifted in late on the turn, failed to rally. BALBONI'S CREW broke inwardly and a step slowly, moved up between foes up the backstretch, failed to menace. WUNHAPPY WABBIT dwelt at the start, made a rapid early advance outside foes heading up the backstretch, was near mid-pack on the turn and under urging past the five-sixteenths but could not sustain the effort. HOLY RAMBO broke a step slowly then moved forward inside regaining contact with the field but was never near enough to threaten.
