Chart notes
TURF AND SURF was well back, gained ground on the far turn and from the five path at the top of the stretch drew off. EMERALD LAKE was in mid pack and had a mild gain on the far turn but from the three path at the top of the stretch was second best. HOT OMELET stalked the early leader and was a factor on the far turn but was outfinished. THUNDERHEAVYRAIN was in range and roused from the inside on the far turn but needed more. CHROME'S BIG BREAK set the pace and had a clear lead on the far turn but weakened. MENAGERIE was off the pace, trailed the field on the far turn and from the five path at the top of the stretch had no impact. GAMBLER'S POSE was unhurried early, showed little and was not a factor. JULIE'S MIST was in touch early but lost ground on the far turn and was empty.
