MASH ON THE GAS sat just off the top pair around the first turn and tracked the pace up the backstretch, advanced three wide to duel around the far turn, battled on gamely three deep, edged ahead late with TANGO MIKE MIKE along the outside, raced noses apart approaching the wire and nipped foe in final stride. TANGO MIKE MIKE was allowed to settle around the first turn and into the early backstretch, picked up the pace with five furlongs left to run and engaged the second flight, advanced four deep to duel for the lead entering the far turn, battled on gamely into the lane, edged ahead late with inside running MASH ON THE GAS, raced noses apart in final strides and got nipped on the wire. COME ON MULITCH vied for the lead leaving the first turn, continued to match strides with NO SANDO CZAR STAR up the backstretch and took on added challengers around the far turn, fought back gamely two wide between foes past the sixteenth pole then yielded late. NO SANDO CZAR STAR vied for the lead leaving the first turn, continued to duel inside of CAME ON MULTICH up the backstretch and took on added challengers around the far turn, fought back along the inside into the final furlong then weakened late. STUMPY'S LOVE SONG raced in the back, hustled along two to three wide into the upper stretch and failed to threaten.
