Chart notes
MIDNIGHT MAJESTY pressed the pace two wide down the backstretch, made the lead early on the turn, set the balance of the pace, shook clear under right handed urging and lasted under strong handling. CHARLESTON had good early speed two wide, dropped back on the turn, shifted outside before a half mile then came on again five wide under left handed urging through deep stretch and was steadily cutting into the winners advantage in the final stages. ROUNDBALL ROCK set a pressured pace along the inside into the turn, kept on but was outfinished. BRICK AMBUSH offered a mild bid four wide into the turn then failed to sustain that bid. BRIO had good early speed along the inside then faded. EXPRESS CRUISER pressed the early pace four wide and gave way on the turn.
