Chart notes
BETTY'S SECRET set the pace inside, was cued in the two path passing the quarter, kept on while on the left lead down the lane, and held on. ROCK THE BIRDHOUSE had an awkward start, tracked in the three path, was driven around the turn, ranged up to take aim in the five path at the top of the stretch, and ran on to make it close late but was out of time. SCRAPPY PATCH had a slow start and trailed in the three path, improved from the two path around the turn, had to steady at the top of the lane, angled out to the six path passing the eighth pole, and kept on. DELTA LADY chased in the four path, angled to the rail under a drive passing the quarter, but flattened from the two path in the final furlong. LIFE OF SATURDAYS raced off the pace in the five path and did not threaten. GREEN CHILE pressed in the two path, floated out to the seven path at the top of the stretch, and yielded.
