Chart notes
ESCAPE KEY was the first out of the gate to take the early lead, held off challenger in the far turn to kick clear in the stretch. CALIFORNIA TIGER settled behind the pace on the inside, slightly rank through the first turn, angled out to stalk the pace three wide up the backstretch and far turn, unable to close in the stretch. CARD TRICK rated four wide, saved ground in the far turn to take the inside of the stretch but could not rally. TREVESSO a step slow to trail early, gained position three wide in the far turn but could make no more progress in the stretch. LET'S HAVE A PARTY raced off the pace on the inside, trailed through the far turn, passed tiring rival in the stretch. LIL SEBASTIAN rated behind the pace on the inside, retreated at the three eighths.
