Chart notes
CURLIN'S MALIBU was allowed to settle early, advanced three to five path on the turn, came six wide off the bend by the quarter pole and closed well to get up late and edge clear to prove best under a drive. SANTOS TO WILSON set the unchallenged pace towards the inside, drew out leaving the turn and three wide by the quarter pole, then was caught inside the sixteenth pole while being clearly second best. KING OF HOLLYWOOD stalked the pace two to three wide on the turn and came four wide off the bend by the quarter pole and faded while staying on for the show award. BILL OF RIGHTS chased the pace two to three wide and came three wide off the bend and moved in to be two wide by the quarter pole and raced evenly in the drive. CUPID'S DUDE chased the pace on the inside and faded. EXECUTIVE ACTION had outside pursuit down the backside and then reserved on the outside and was four to five wide on the turn, came seven wide by the quarter pole and offered no rally. BATTER UP BUD was reserved early and three to four wide on the turn and never factored. YODEL E. A. WHO was reserved on the inside and saved ground on the turn to no avail.
