SCAT HUMOR travelled on the rail watching the front three in the first bend, took closer order in the three path pulling the rider between foes at the half, bid outside for the lead with three eighths from home, battled through the turn, bobbed heads with a stubborn inside foe down the stretch, began to edge away at the sixteenth pole and was kept to the task to hold safe from a fast closing in runner up at the wire. SUNNYVILLE stalked close to the back in the two path in the early stages of this route race, begun to mount a rally circling rivals five wide at the five sixteenth pole, swung out widest in the seven path full of run down the stretch and was gaining steadily late but just could not get to the winner in time. AMI'S CRY was hustled from the outer post getting to the rail taking this field into the initial turn, slowed the pace down bunching up the group dictating terms up front at the half, had company outside by the three eighths pole, dueled stubbornly with the winner inside through the far turn, continued to battle until the sixteenth pole giving way up top and faded in deep stretch to hold for the show money in the end. DAISYCREST drafted behind the leader in the early going having the rail, was nestled in midfield still on the fence keeping a close eye on the pacesetter at the half, came under a ride trying to keep up to the lead pair through the last bend and finished up one paced down the stretch to settle on the fringes at the wire. SERIOUS LADY broke out on the start, hounded the pace on the outside in the first turn, could not maintain forward position in the two path at the half, was urged for more but was dropping back to be in last by the quarter pole and resurged inside horses down the lane to pass a few weary foes in the final furlong. BROWN BUTTER SAGE broke a step slow on the start to trail in the early stages, offered a mild run edging up on the fence through the far turn to be in with a chance fighting for a small piece of the prize four wide inside rivals at the top of the lane but could not continue the rally down the stretch failing to fire between horses in the last furlong. PAT'S HOLIDAY stalked near the rear three wide outside runners into the first of two turns, narrowed the margin on the leader in the four path going between rivals at the half, tried to hold position in mid-pack travelling four wide on the second bend, shifted out to the six path with rivals on either side turning for home but was empty for the stretch drive. ANELA KAI was bumped on the inside on the break, roused under the wire for the first time trying to get closer to the leader, had trouble navigating the first turn going six wide around horses, continued to move up making an early move five deep outside runners at the half, prompted the pace three wide with three eighths to run, could not sustain the run midway on the final turn, folded in the two path between foes at the quarter pole and cantered home down the stretch.
