Chart notes
VINO SANTO showed speed and assumed early command, set the pace while well handled to the far turn, shook free of SWEET LAZARUS nearing the quarter pole, pulled away in the stretch and was ridden out as much the best. SWEET LAZARUS prominent early, attended pace to far turn, turned away nearing the quarter marker, was no match for the winner in the stretch and was second best. WITTINGLY awkward start, settled to the first turn, widest along the backstretch, shifted two wide into the second turn, lacked a final kick in the stretch but was able to get up for third. CRYPTONYM tracked between foes and two wide into the backstretch, chased three wide upper, weakened in the final furlong and lost third. MILAZZO settled inside while never far back, chased VINO SANTO to mid-stretch then gave way. WORTH THE WAIT tracked three wide to far turn and tired. ACCELERATE ME tracked inside, faded into second turn, eased stretch, walked off. DE LA CALLES settled early, lacked a response to the half-mile pole, was eased through the lane then was transported off of the course via the equine ambulance and was reported to have bled.
