Chart notes
FUNGO FUNGO set the pace in the two path, was roused passing the quarter, and kicked on to draw clear down the lane. BONDS REVENGE got bumped by an inner foe at the start, chased in the five path, was ridden in the four path around the turn, swung from the five path at the top of the short stretch, and kept on to get up for place. JUBA'S TAJ stalked in the four path, bid in the three path passing the quarter, but flattened. MISTER GRINCH raced up close in the three path, steadied going into the turn, and faded along the rail down the stretch. INTENTION TO ZIP trailed in the three path early and made no closing bid. CLOSE TO CHAOS tracked inside early but retreated. BOLD BOOMER broke out, bumped an outer foe and appeared to lose the right iron, then lost the rider passing the half, completed the circuit from the center, was caught shortly after, and walked off. NO CHANGES WERE MADE AFTER THE STEWARDS HELD AN INQUIRY TO LOOK AT THE EARLY STAGES OF THE RACE.
