Chart notes
CITIZEN K tracked on the inside, saved ground on the far turn, rallied on the rail in the stretch, closed willingly in the final sixteenth and gamely prevailed. BRING ME A CHECK was off slowly, pulled in the early stages, then settled off the pace inside, advanced between rivals on the far turn, came three wide into the lane, rallied four wide in midstretch, dug in gamely outside and drifted in a bit in the final yards. JADES JAY set the pace racing with a clear lead, dueled into the stretch, dug in gamely between horses, was outkicked and steadied in tight nearing the wire. CONSULTANT stalked the pacesetter, chased on the turn, bid at the quarter pole, rallied between rivals and weakened late. TIBERIUS MERCURIUS raced three wide early, stalked three wide, chased three wide on the far turn and tired. BAY STREET MONEY raced off the pace between horses, continued two wide, dropped back on the far turn and failed to threaten. COLPO D'ORO was off slowly, raced off the rail, off the pace, three wide on the far turn and failed to threaten. A Jockey's Objection by the rider of JADES JAY against BRING ME A CHECK was dismissed.
