Chart notes
CHARLEE MAE was well reserved racing in back, picked up the tempo late on the turn, put to a drive at the head of the lane, advanced along the inside then tipped two wide, split foes late and edged away. DEMIDANU reared at the start and came away slowly, raced off the early pace, advanced closer late on the turn, launched a bid four wide at the head of the lane, was edging up to the late lead but got denied by the winner in final strides. TALKIN TIPSY led the way in the opening quarter, vied around the turn, shook free in the upper stretch, continued to lead the way into the final furlong and got overtaken late. KANT RESIST IT was forwardly placed up the backstretch, vied around the turn, could not match strides turning for home but kept on three wide and secured a minor share. TWO BAR tracked the early pace, vied three wide around the turn, could not match strides at the head of the lane, ran on past the furlong marker then gave way. ONE WAY OR ANOTHER was away in good order and raced in close contention going by the half mile marker, failed to keep pace around the turn, hustled along two wide into the upper stretch and offered no late run.
