Chart notes
LONG POUR coaxed from the gate, showed the way in hand just off the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, angled four wide into upper stretch under threat to the outside, dug in under a drive to surge away inside the final sixteenth and rebuff the challenge from the runner up. MERICA'S BACK broke out at the start, advanced after the break to prompt the leader from the outside three wide through the turn, got set down angled five wide into upper stretch, dug in latching on a furlong out, then got repelled inside the final sixteenth and was along clear of the rest and second best. SPEIGHTFUL STORM bobbled at the break, chased just off the inside and then along the inside under a ride from the five-sixteenths, angled four to five wide for home and improved position to the finish. MOZAMBIQUE coaxed from the gate, chased along the inside under a ride from the five-sixteenths, spun three wide into upper stretch, offered up a bid a furlong out, then weakened in the late stages. KEEPINITREAL coaxed from the gate, chased three then two wide under urging from the five-sixteenths, went six wide at the head of the stretch, weakened in the drive. ALZERO broke out at the start brushing the off side stall, then got pinched out just after the break and conceded three lengths to the front, chased five then four wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, went nine wide at the head of the stretch and passed tired rivals. GAMEBRED coaxed from the gate, chased four then three wide under encouragement from the five-sixteenths, went eight wide for home and weakened in the stretch. LIBERTY RISING brushed the off side stall at the start, chased along the inside under urging from three furlongs out, took the inside route into upper stretch and tired. CALL BOB hustled from the gate, chased three wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, went six to seven wide into upper stretch, tired. EIGHTY GOLD stumbled at the start, chased along the inside briefly before tipping two to three wide, came under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, cornered four to five wide into upper stretch and was eased home to the end.
