Chart notes
SHAQ DIESEL broke the best then ceded the early lead, pressed two to three wide to the turn, took command nearing the quarter marker, kicked clear to mid-stretch, was ridden out in the final sixteenth and won as much the best. THE GOLDEN GORILLA lacked early speed, bid two wide to upper stretch, outkicked to the final sixteenth and held for second. PURE CLASS settled, swung six wide to upper stretch, rallied and just missed second. EL PRINCIPITO tracked early pace, angled three to four wide along the turn, chased SHAQ DIESEL into the stretch and weakened late. NAUTICAL STAR settled, chased five wide to upper stretch, gave way. GENERAL LEDGER sent, set pace to turn, overtaken nearing quarter pole, tired stretch.
