FREDDY J was allowed to settle off the early pace, edged closer three wide mid-way around the turn, given cue at the head of the lane, responded, took over the lead from SAY IN NICELY leaving the upper stretch, quickly widened to a clear advantage and kept to task. I LOVE ROCKNSTROLL raced in range in early stages, ran on evenly two wide around the turn, swung four wide into the upper stretch, came under right handed pressure at the eighth pole, responded and gained place. SAY IT NICELY sped to the lead at the start and set the pace, came under pressure from MILTON STREET at the quarter pole, maintained a slim advantage then got collared by the eventual winner past upper stretch, ran on and secured show. MILTON STREET was forwardly placed sitting just off the early leader, moved up to challenge SAY IT NICELY at the quarter pole, ran on into the head of the lane then flattened out. SNAP'N TAP was not too far back along the inside, angled out at the head of the lane, moved back inside and gave way.
