SUNNY WISHES was off a step slow, but rushed up to assume command entering the first turn, controlled the pace in the run down the backside, turn back a challenge by KARNERSNOTIMPRESSED through the final turn, and drew clear in the lane to prove best. KARENSNOTIMPRESSED away alertly and raced to the lead through the stretch the first time while racing at the rail, eased into a tracking trip one out from the rail entering the first turn, loomed a threat from the outside of SUNNY WISHES entering the final turn, was no match for that rival in the late stages, but proved easily second best. MAGIC MOLLY settled off the early leaders while racing two wide into the first turn, quickly dropped back to trail leaving the turn, was well back in the run down the backside and through the final turn, and was only able to pass a rival who bore out over the final furlong. WHAT A FORCE missed the break and ducked in soon after the start, while trailing the field into the first turn, tipped two wide entering the backside and began to advance in the run down the backstretch, rallied smartly two wide entering the final turn, bore out midway through the turn, and was unable to recover from losing his momentum.
