Chart notes
GUCCI BOY settled early on, made a good early four wide bid near the five sixteenths pole to challenge and edged clear late under strong handling. NUMERO SIETE rated along the inside, blocked near the three eighths pole, slipped through the rail through the far turn into the lane and finished gamely to the wire. HUEY DUEY dueled two deep from the outside of foe and kept on willingly to the wire. MISTER MONTE CARLO stalked the pace between rivals, raced six wide into the upper stretch and had no final winning bid. TIMEHASCOME dueled near the rail and gave way. COLONEL BARTON settled early on, raced five to six wide around the far turn and needed more. VIOLENT RIVER raced two to three wide around the far turn and lacked a solid bid. WILLIAM GUSTAVO saved ground and never threatened. LUCKY PROMISE swung wide and never was a factor.
