Chart notes
MY LIGHTNIN BOLT broke near the lead and settled along the inside, tracked the pace into the turn, angled out near the five sixteenths pole, given cue three wide at the head of the lane, ran on determinedly, steadily edged up closer and got up in final stride. CLASSYCOWTOWNLADY sped to the lead soon after the start, set the pace and held firm around the turn, swung three wide into the upper stretch, held clear a furlong out, lugged in under left handed pressure and got caught in final stride. DEVIL D' ORO raced off the clear top trio, hustled along the rail around the turn, sustained bid into the upper stretch and secured a share. AMERICAN SUE raced of the early pace, chased two paths wide late on the turn and failed to kick on in the lane. THORN CROWN raced up close in the opening quarter, sustained bid into the turn then came up empty past the quarter pole. HAPPY HOUR QUEEN raced off the pace, saved ground around the turn and had no response.
