Chart notes
A CASE OF YOU bumped mildly at the start, taken in hand to be reserved off the pace, tracked the leaders from the inside on the final bend, searched for racing room in upper stretch, split rivals in a determined drive to surge to the lead inside the eighth pole and prevailed in a well managed ride. OMIKAMI unhurried to be the trailer for the first half mile, made a steady rally circling five wide on the turn to be prominent at the top of the lane, took a short lead midway down the stretch and finished wellingly while outkicked by the winner. CLARAMENTE rated off the pace in the strung out field, circled seven wide on the final bend to loom in mid-stretch and finished evenly unable to sustain the rally. LITTLE MARTHA tracked the leaders to the far turn, rallied to the lead on the far turn, battled to midway down the lane and weakened in the final hundred yards. LA TOURISTA set the pace on a clear lead down the backside, had no response when challenged on the turn and gave way coming home. R GIRL FAITH prompted the pace down the backside, rallied to challenge at the three-eighths pole and came up empty on the final bend.
