Chart notes
TIZWOW broke very sharp, set the pace around the turn, token pressure from outside rival approaching the quarter pole, stifled that bid with ease, drew away driving through the final sixteenth. SOLOMON VANDY tracked the pace three wide into the turn, called up outside the leader leaving the quarter pole, no match nearing the furlong marker, chased on well clear for the place. SKYLANE trailer into the turn, hard ask six deep from the quarter pole, along willingly for the show money. OSCAR NOMINEE chased the speedy winner two deep into the turn, lost ground around the quarter pole, had no punch through the final sixteenth. MERLOTTI slow into stride, saved ground off the pace around the turn, never factored late. COOLTHING chased the pace inside into the turn, off rail left lead, faltered through the stretch.
