Chart notes
NELIDA unhurried to be the trailer, was still at the back turning for home, rallied five wide down the lane, dove in between rivals in mid-stretch as the runner-up drifted out and surged late to be up just in time. LITTLE MISS MUNNY prompted the pace for three-quarters, rallied from four wide turning for home to engage the leader in mid-stretch, took the lead leaving the eighth pole while drifting out and was nailed in the final stride. CANDY JANE sped to the lead, set the pace under mild pressure to the quarter pole, responded willingly when challenged in the lane and was outkicked late in the drive. BAYTOWN STORM unhurried to race near the rear of the field and passed weaker rivals in the lane with a late bid. MEET IN SECRET raced in contention throughout and lacked a closing kick in the stretch. DIRIYAH stalked the pace to the far turn, mounted a mild rally on the bend to be well placed and flattened out turning for home. TWISTED EMPRESS raced mid-pack and faded failing to respond when called upon.
