Chart notes
CITIZEN trailed for four furlongs, circled his field through the far turn, made the lead in upper stretch, was put to a right handed crop, drifted out to the middle of the racetrack steadily and lasted under hand urging. STAR QUALITY stalked the pace along the inside into the stretch, shifted outside the winner to the six path near the furlong marker, began to rally, altered inside the winner late and was steadily gaining ground. STREETS OF WAR made the lead soon after the start, drew well clear on the far turn, maintained the advantage to the top of the stretch then was outfinished. NET WORTH pressed the early pace two wide, dropped back on the far turn then passed tiring rivals in the final stages. REASON TO BELIEVE failed to menace. LAST U TURN chased the pace three wide into the stretch and gave way late. STEELER MISCHIEF was no factor.
