Chart notes
ILLINI set a well handled pace from the start, drew off in upper stretch and was clearly much the best. SURFIN SAM chased the pace while two wide on the backstretch, made a bid but was no match for the winner in late stretch. DOOQ was allowed to settled while two wide then failed to menace. BENITO was unhurried early then raced three wide turn then was no threat. LYLA'S LUCKY BOY was inside on the backstretch, shied from rival when squeezed then taken up sharply dropping back then was no menace. STRIKE PRICE was two wide on the backstretch while two wide, bore in on the backstretch then used up and stopped.
