Chart notes
SACRED THUNDER settled off the pace in the three path, steadily advanced through the backstretch and far turn to enter the stretch pressing the pace, took command in the final furlong and kicked clear. CARVELLIAN QUEST raced behind the pace in the two path, took command at the top of the stretch, ducked in at the furlong marker to impede foe. FROSTY THE GIANT showed good early speed in the three path, angled in to lead from the inside up the backstretch, checked by foe at the final furlong marker. MAD BANKER settled off the pace between foes, saved ground in the far turn, could not improve in the stretch. PASSIONED raced behind the pace on the inside, through after half. SECURED LANDING raced off the pace on the inside, never involved. THATAWAY trailed throughout, no factor. STEWARDS INQUIRY AS WELL AS JOCKEY'S OBJECTION REGARDING CARVELLIAN QUEST AND FROSTY THE GIANT IN THE STRETCH RUN RESULTED IN A DISQUALIFICATION OF FROSTY THE GIANT TO THIRD DUE TO INTERFERENCE.
