Chart notes
FACE THE FACTS led under pressure inside, was hooked at the eighth pole, resisted and held on gamely. TROTSKY went after the winner on the turn, loomed a threat but could not get by. REAL BLUES broke awkwardly, rushed to contention then went evenly late. METALHEAD was put to urging three wide on the turn then flattened out. REELIN N DEALIN dropped back early and was always outrun. SOUTHERN DREAM trailed early and was never a factor. ROXTON flashed speed initial quarter mile then stopped abruptly.
