Chart notes
LA VIKINA broke well, was initially up with the early pace battle, backed off through the turn, then rallied up the rail, took the lead in deep stretch, and won clear. BOSTON PRINCESS moved up to join the leaders after starting a step slow, took over the lead heading into the turn, opened up at the top of the stretch, but was unable to hold off the inside bid from the winner in deep stretch. SWEET CHARLIZE was the inside horse in the early pace scramble before dropping out early on the turn, was unable to kick on with the top two, but saved ground and kept on well to hold the third spot. WORK N FLIRT contested the early pace from between horses while under a ride, was always close up then went flat in the stretch. BIRDIE CURDY was under a drive from the start, moved up five-wide through the turn and finished evenly. LOOKATHERGLIDE got off to a level start but was outrun down the backstretch, saved all the ground through the turn, raced on the wrong lead through most of the stretch. SUSSUMS GIRL hustled to the front from the start, vied four-wide, then weakened late in the stretch. CHAMA STORM was fractious in the gate, broke with the field but was not traveling well and was pulled up shortly after the start, vetted, and transported from the track via the equine ambulance. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time.
