Chart notes
BIG PAPER reserved off the pace for the first five-eighths, circled five wide on the far turn rallying to engage the leader in upper stretch and drew off as much the best. SARGEANT BARGER set a pressured pace from two wide to the far turn, kicked away from the presser on the turn to be clear, could not keep pace with the winner in the lane and finished willingly to hold the place. NOT YET CHARLIE pressed the pace from the rail to the final turn vying for the lead, dropped off the leader on the bend and ran-on coming home to almost re-gain the place. JARLIAN tracked the leaders down the backside to be well placed and lacked a closing bid finishing evenly. IMPROBABLE STORY stalked the pace for three-quarters, cut the corner turning for home with a mild bid up the fence and flattened out midway down the lane. WILD UNION was outrun.
