Chart notes
NAY V BELLE laid off the pace in the early going, traveled outside a rival into the turn, steered out and came four wide into the lane, shifted in upper stretch, surged clear midstretch and was able to hold in the final moments. EGYPTIAN MAU (SAF) was off slow to begin, steadied behind a rival shortly after, trailed on the inside into the turn, eased over to the two path midway around the bend, angled four wide approaching the stretch, moved out widest to unleash a mighty rally, flew late to reel in the winner but ran out of time. MISS ROBERTS (GB) unhurried in the opening stages, went two wide into the turn, angled five wide late on the bend, put in a mild bid but flattened in the late stages. VISUALLY coaxed along near the back on the inside, tipped two wide with quarter mile remaining, moved out in the lane and produced a mild rally to round out the superfecta. HOME GAME stalked the top pair on the inside, saved ground through the turn, lacked room from upper to stretch to the sixteenth, then kept on once finding a clear path but was too late to threaten. UNCORKED (AUS) stalked outside a rival, chased three wide into the lane, bid between rivals with a furlong remaining but faltered in the late stages. BARBARA T dueled from outside to midsretch and folded. IMABOUTAGO (IRE) dueled inside BARBARA T, carried a short lead through the turn, clung to a narrow advantage at the eighth pole, yielded midstretch and gave way. THE WILD GRAZER (IRE) traveled in mid-pack on the inside, tipped out into the lane, got stopped in traffic past the eighth pole and never found room.
