Chart notes
LITTLE POISON vied for the early lead, shook clear entering the turn, held firm and saved ground, widened to a clear advantage a furlong out and kept to task under steady urging. LADY OF DEVON tracked the pace into the turn, hustled along three wide in the upper stretch and gained second best. IT HAPPENS raced in range in the opening quarter then weakened after entering the turn, launched a four wide bid at the head of the lane and got up late for show. BATTLESHIPPER tracked the early pace, chased three wide around the turn, sustained bid past the furlong marker then flattened and lost show. SINGING EMMA dueled for the lead up the backstretch, flattened around the turn and continued to tire in the drive. LONG MAY SHE RUN saved ground and had no response.
