Chart notes
EL CORDOBES rated off the early pace in mid-field from six wide, made a steady bid on the far outside on the turn, took command in upper stretch and remained clear. PROMISSIONE tracked the leaders from between rivals through the turn and rallied well in the lane to be second best. PEACE CLOUD stalked the pace from between horses five wide through the turn, rallied to loom nearing the quarter pole, raced in tight quarter when narrowed a bit by the winner steadying briefly, was quickly set back down for a drive and finished willingly. UNCLE TUFFY was unhurried racing near the rear of the field to the head of the lane and rallied mildy showing some interest with a late bid in the stretch. PAIRED EXCHANGE raced near the back of the pack to the far turn, circled eight wide turning for home and rallied passing tiring rivals. PAVED IN GOLD set the pace on a clear lead down the backstretch, had no answer when engaged on the far turn and weakened coming home. ONE DESTINATION prompted the pace for a half mile to be well placed and flattened out on the far turn. CAN'T YOU SEE tracked the leaders from the fence to the final turn, made a brief bid on the bend and gave way turning for home. GREATDAYFORHOCKEY was outrun. THE RIDER OF PEACE CLOUD CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST THE WINNER FOR INTERFERENCE AT THE QUARTER POLE, UPON REVIEW THE STEWARDS MADE NO CHANGE.
