Chart notes
DE LA CRUZ went unhurried early, then moved up to midpack after a mile, bid coming out of the final turn and prevailed driving. HOMESTEAD set the pace soon after the start, battled gamely in the stretch and lost a few strides from the wire. MYSTERIOUS DANCER traveled reserved on the rail, rallied and finished well for third. MARCILLY (IRE) stalked the leaders, rallied, was unable to reach the top three, ran on. SAFE AT HOME traveled reserved from the start, then outpaced in the stretch. SUPER CHUNK stalked in second, then outpaced from the final turn through the stretch. BENJIS BENEFIT (IRE) set the pace briefly, blew first turn ending up near the outer rail, corrected course and trailed the field. MADE TO BE LUCKY was forwardly placed early, tired on the backstretch and was eased in the stretch.
