Chart notes
WILY WADE settled through early stages, continued to track rivals around the turn, given cue two wide at the head of the lane, split foes, kept on gamely, got up late and held on. INTO THE DEEP was forwardly placed in the opening quarter, vied late on the turn, came four wide into upper stretch, raced in aim for the late lead and got denied by the winner. RED KINGDOM tracked the early pace, swung four to five wide into the upper stretch, advanced to race in striking distance and edged closer to the wire. WAGON POWER was forwardly placed along the rail, got in tight and steadied entering the turn, lost position, lacked a clear path late on the turn, continued without clear racing room into the stretch, steadied slightly past mid-stretch then got clear past the sixteenth pole but was too late for impact. BRASA broke sharp, cleared and angled inside, got collared around the turn, moved back up along the rail in upper stretch, led the way a furlong out then weakened late. FALLEN STAR raced up close then took over the lead entering the turn, got collared in the upper stretch and weakened in the final furlong. BAD BOY BRAWNY raced off the early pace, swung four to five wide into the upper stretch and failed to threaten.
