J T'S IMAGINATION led the way around the first turn and set the pace up the backstretch, took on the challenge from WESTERN COMMAND at the quarter pole, shook off rival in the upper stretch, ran on near the inside and pulled away. WESTERN COMMAND tracked the early pace, advanced to challenge JT S IMAGINATION at the quarter pole, could not move on with eventual winner in the upper stretch but sustained a steady bid and finished clearly second best. BOUGIE JOE settled through early stages, saved ground around the far turn, cut the corner entering the lane, sustained a steady bid and cleared show. ICE AGAIN stalked the pace, flattened around the far turn and faded in the lane. DOUBLECHECK stumbled at the start then steadied just after and trailed in early stages, advanced into contention around the turn then tired in the drive. MASH ON THE GAS was forwardly placed around the first turn and up the backstretch, weakened mid-way around the far turn and continued to tire in the drive.
