CANDYTOWN broke on top despite bobbling at the start, got displaced on the front by IRISH GENT and settled chasing along the inside just off the pace, tipped to the two path five-sixteenths from home, angled five wide into upper stretch advancing to seize command with three-sixteenths to go, edged clear under a drive kept to task. IRISH GENT (IRE) established the front after the start and showed the way in hand along the inside under attendance to the outside from LAUREL VALLEY, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, got collared at the three-sixteenths and ran on to chase the winner home clear for the place honors. WITHOUT CAUTION just off the inside through the first turn, chased just off the inside under a ride from the five-sixteenths, angled five wide for home and kept on to the finish to secure the show honors. DEBT LIMIT (FR) saved ground near the rear of the field, tipped two then three wide put to coaxing at the five-sixteenths, went seven wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild kick. MAIN BEACH three then two wide through the first turn, chased two to three wide down the backstretch before heading four to five wide through the far turn coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, continued five wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild bid. BULLDOZE a bit fractious in the gate prior to the start, went three then two wide through the opening bend, chased just off the inside down the backstretch and then three to four wide through the far turn under urging from the five-sixteenths, angled six wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. RAMBLIN' WRECK chased along the inside and then just off the inside before heading four wide through the far turn coaxed along with five-sixteenths to go, went eight to nine wide into upper stretch and made no impact. WAITLIST a bit fractious in the gate before the start, chased along the inside coming under a ride near the quarter pole, spun two to three wide into upper stretch and offered no response. PAPIAMENTO chased along the inside under coaxing nearing the quarter pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, weakened in the drive. LAUREL VALLEY raced three then two wide through the first turn a bit keen early on, settled attending the leader to the outside two then three wide, got placed to a protective hold just outside the quarter pole and was eased back expertly through the field and went six wide into upper stretch, then got eased home to the finish and was aided by the outrider, pulled up soon after the wire and was attended to and vetted and subsequently transported off the course via the equine ambulance.
