SPECTACULAR TIGER saved ground setting the pace and gradually increased his advantage. BOURBON DANCER saved ground while being reserved off the pace, steadied nearing the five-sixteenth pole when ANGIER was pulled up, angled out to be three-wide entering the stretch and finished well for second in a good try. TRUE MANTRA was forwardly placed racing three-wide, angled in nearing the eighth pole and finished fairly well for third. EMPIRE WARRIOR was off a step slow then allowed to settle while racing four-wide on the turn, angled in to be two-wide entering the stretch but lacked a rlaly. GATE GUARD raced in the back of the field and trailed. ANGIER chased SPECTACULAR TIGER racing two-wide, appeared to take a bid step nearing the five-sixteenths pole then was quickly pulled up and transported off the track via the equine ambulance.
