Chart notes
LULA BELLA vied with BOLD INTENTION for the early lead from along the inside, disposed of that one nearing the five-sixteenths pole to open a clear lead then was full extended to hold off BOB'S VAI late. BOB'S VAI saved ground tracking the early pace, angled out to be two-wide leaving the eighth pole and finished fast. PRINCESS PAYTON saved ground while being reserved off the pace, came three-wide into the stretch, split rivals late and finished strongly. THE GREAT HAYNES was off a step slow then allowed to settle while racing two-wide, came four-wide into the stretch and was steadily gaining late. LUSMA raced in the middle of the field early, swung out to ne eight-wide entering the stretch and finished in a mild rally. MADAME GAZELLE stumbled at the start then was unhurried while saving ground and rallied late. SONG OF SHADOWS was prominent early racing four-wide, dropped back slightly nearing the three-eighths pole to angled in closer to the rail but lacked a rally. STATEFOREST raced in the back of the field, came two-wide into the stretch and failed to seriously threaten. BOLD INTENTION vied for the early lead from along the outside drifted out to be six-wide entering the stretch and tired.
